How much money do I have to raise to sign up as a runner?
Signing up is free, however you are obligated to raise five hundred dollars before the run on Labor Day weekend
How far a distance is 5K?
5K or 5 kilometers is 3.1 miles
Do I have to run the entire course?
You have the choice of running jogging or walking the course to raise the money for the special children
How do I find sponsors?
The Center will provide you with an email to send out to your contacts.ie friends and family. The email will have a link to your personal page at thecenterrun.org where they will be able to sponsor any amount they wish to be given in your honor.
How can I become a corporate sponsor?
Corporate sponsorship including the name of the marathon are available by calling 732.668.6426 or clicking here.
Who can participate in the festivities at the event?
Any runner, sponsor, or Special child and their family members as well.
Are there any additional incentives for the runners?
Any runner that raises over 1000.00 dollars will be entered into a raffle
for an I pad.
What happens if I can't finish the marathon?
Please clarify with your sponsors that you will do your utmost to complete
the course. However if for some reason you are unable to, the funds will still
be going to The Special Children's Center.
