This Labor day Weekend, I will join The Special Children's Center in their first ever Jogg a Thon!
The Special Children's Center opens its arms to special children, young adults and their families. To help, to cope, to hope.
The Center, provides round the clock respite services and support to over 150 families raising children with special needs. Parents of special-needs children face the monumental task of dividing their time and attention between the special child and his siblings, especially at times when there is no school, when all are vying for their parents' attention. The Center alleviates this overwhelming burden while providing the children with an environment that is warm, nurturing, and productive.
Special needs never take a break, Neither do they!
